The Event, Baby Shower Central

 As you can see, we had a wonderful turnout for our shower. Many of our friends joined us for the celebration.

 Carla and Mike were super excited. Mike even wore a tie!

 I made all of the announcements. Here I am welcoming everyone, introducing family, and starting the food line.

 Four generations, well almost...

 It was nice seeing the neighbors Bonnie, Chris, and Pam (and Sue and Debbie--see below). Chris and Linda Sidell (not pictured) saved the day by helping me with the food. Thanks so much, Ladies, for stepping in at the last minute.

 Sue volunteered to take pictures. I was so grateful. She took many wonderful photos (all of the ones you see in this blog). Thanks a million, Sue

 The fantastic gals I work with came also. Sherry and her daughter, Teegan, and Tiffany. Tiffany brought the hit of the party, a picture of a tree where everyone added a green thumbprint with their name. It was absolutely adorable. Carla wants to bring her tree to the other shower so those guests can add their names as well.

My other work pals, Stephanie and Allison, rounded out the entire crew. I was so happy they could all come.

 Four Devereaux generations, well almost. I'm so happy Mike's mom and grandma could join us. His sister, Nicki, was a huge help; thanks, Nicki!

 Mary (Semes) Bradley, and Gina and Judy Petrous enjoyed the party. We had a great time catching up and reminiscing.

 Well, if it wasn't for Tabby, we wouldn't have had everything done on time. I really appreciated her help. Thanks a million, Tabby.

And, of course, Gramma made the food fantastic.

 Some of the Ham-Par Elementary teachers came as well. It was so nice seeing Julie Harwood, Lynn Pete, and MaryJo Hosler. Carla had Julie for first grade and MaryJo for second.

 Tina Auffenorde (Carla's fifth-grade teacher) and Jayne Ward also joined the celebration. We have a lot of history.

Mike is practicing his parenting skills with Blake. He is so cute. Stay tuned for the opening of the gifts.
