Too Cute Not to Post!

Paul's very first time holding Levi!

Easter Pictures

Carla took Levi to see the Easter Bunny. He is so cute. Boy this brings me back...
way back...

Carla's first Easter. She was almost a year old.

You three seemed to enjoy the Easter Bunny this year.

Hmmm... not so much now!

Paul's turn to be a victim of the "rabbit".

In my day, the Easter Bunny was much more tame
(1959, I was 1-year-old).

Happy Easter!

I decided to make Oreo Cookie Push-up Pops for Easter. I simply adapted my delicious Oreo Cookie Cake recipe.

Paul was tired and hit the couch as soon as we arrived at Gramma's.

Dad is thrilled Levi is awake.

 Mike is just thrilled...

The feast is about to begin, just need about 17 more dishes...

 Don't forget the wine.

Gramma's making sure we are all well fed.

 Paul is still tired.

Dad is enjoying the baby.

 I think Tony is hungry.

Levi just ate and is enjoying being rocked.

 Time for the feast.

Grampa made a toast to Easter.

 Levi slept through dinner.

Paul's pretty good with the self portraits...

 ...but I'm better.

 What? Twins?

I think I took Tony's plate a little too early.

 Hi Great-Grampa!

Levi wouldn't let go of Tony's finger.

 Solving the world's problems...maybe.

 Cute family!
 Great-gramma gets a turn, too.

We couldn't decide which way Levi should wear his new hat.
Brim up...

 brim down...

 Backwards... What do you think?

Getting Ready for Easter

The Easter Bunny left the most adorable basket at Carla's house, a little early...

Hey, what's going on?

New Dessert

Katie and I went to a candy demonstration at a local cake decorating store. Before we left, I bought a new way to serve dessert...push-up pops.
First thing to do was wash all of the pieces. This set makes 12.

I chose banana cream pie pops for my first try. I gathered the ingredients...

...mixed the two puddings together and added milk.

 Yum!

I fabricated a stand and reassembled the pop cups. I began with a nilla wafer on the bottom.

Then I added some diced bananas.

I put the pudding in a plastic bag and cut a hole in the corner. I wanted the pops to look nice and neat.

I added another cookie and a banana slice.

 Tony is excited!!!

I love pudding so I added a little more to make a second layer.

Tony's favorite part of my project was eating the leftovers.

I topped each one off with real whipped cream, delicious. Katie came over to try them and she thought they were fantastic. My next "pop" is going to be either chocolate mint or cheesecake...Can't wait.
