My New Sewing Room

 I'm really excited about turning Paul's old room into my sewing room. As you can see, the walls were pretty dark.

 I went to Home Depot and bought a paint and primer mix. I hope two coats will cover it.

 I covered the floor and spackled and then sanded all of the walls.

Then I painted all of the trim.

I decided to start with the white. I painted the ceiling and two of the walls with two coats of paint. It covered really well but I had to buy another gallon of each color. In total, I used 4 gallons of paint for the project.

Then I painted two coats of the blue on the last two walls and in the closet.

I still have to clean up the edges (between the connecting walls and the ceiling). Helmut replaced the newly varnished floor molding and I'm almost ready to move in. Stay tuned for the decorating.
